I JUST ADULTED SO HARD y’all!
It’s officially official....I am an AFPA certified Personal Trainer! It’s taken since January but I finally did it. That’s three certifications completed in less than 12 months - Reiki Master, Kickboxing Instructor, and Personal Trainer.
Now the real fun and work begins in empowering others to spark their confidence and passions!
I’m not gonna lie - this shizz wasn’t easy, no sir. I even threw in the towel in July and thought I couldn’t finish even though I was so close. Then I remembered all the other tough battles that haven’t stopped me yet and I opened those books back up and BAM...I did it, I really did it.
Best advice from this busy, 40 yr old mama, who’s lost 100 lbs, runs two businesses, and has overcome MANY health obstacles:
Don’t give up
Follow your passion
Get your support team together
Choose one small thing a day to work towards your dream
Small steps are better than no steps at all
It’s NEVER too late to start!

I’ve lost 100 lbs, just turned 40, went from being told I couldn’t have children to being a busy homeschooling mama to two amazing kiddos, own my own business, help my husband with his, have pins and plate in my back and foot, fight auto immune disease. No battle has stopped me yet!

I had a friend who was needing a low impact workout because of her bad knee. She also doesn’t have any equipment so this is the body blasting combo I came up with for her.

Walk the Dog- 20 reps (alternating 10 on each side)
Glute Bridge - 10 reps
Plank Push Up - 12 reps (alternating 6 on each side)
Body Weight Squats - 6 reps
Plank Shoulder Taps - 12 reps (alternating 6 on each side)
Leg Balance with Triple Reach - 12 reps (6 on each side)
REPEAT SET X3
